Production, this week we discussed the content of what our 'happy days' period would be, criss cross biking etc.We discussed which type of clothing would fit the female protagonist, we went with casual clothing say a dress incorporate with the target audience being young adults, 16-25.
In terms of we filming readjusted our overall idea, particularly the ending scene, instead of having christiana walking home to cry and lip sync the words 'am i allowed to love you' we decided it would be best to end it in the cafe, by doing this we eliminate the factor of lip syncing however during that part we will have tanvir reassure her by holding her hands, by doing this it creates a more smooth rendition.

Focus group evaluation
The focus group questions were thought up by us altogether, we gathered people who were available in sixth form and placed them together for the focus group.
There are slight diversities between them as each of them belonged to a different ethnic group such as Muslim, African, mixed and Caucasian.
We began asking them questions such as what is your favourite genre, this allowed us to get a standpoint view and an overall starter basis on each of their preferences, however the answer they gave showed us all of them agreed with 'rap' being their favourite genre.

Week 5 production log
This week the main focus was editing, since we got all our clips together we manually placed them on the timeline accordingly as a starter, this allowed us to view the whole duration of the clips in contrast with the song, the result showed us that we had footage over-run but this wasn't nessicarily an issue as we still had to edit and shorten the clips, we also had an idea in mind to end the music video off with the scene of the two couples leaving accompanied with a few seconds of silence, this would create a perfect outro mood for the music video.
I wouldn't say we've faced any constraints as we finished our music video fairly within time, this was due to the overall immense planning of camera shots and types beforehand so all cast members got an solid constructed idea on what we were to achieve during each day following the production schedule.

Week 2
This week we discussed the content of what our 'happy days' period would be, cross cross biking, date locations etc. We discussed which type of clothing would fit the female protagonist, we went with casual clothing say a dress incorporate with the target audience being young adults, 16-25. For the male we would have him wear a jacket or hoodie in relation to the location we are to film at and to represent the general idea of boys not as loyal.
Alongside this we discussed which words would we use to do lip syncing, we came to a conclusion that the last verse, "i'm i allowed to love you" would be perfect because,

Results from questionnaire
Results from questionnaire
Here are the results accumulated from our music video questionnaire that was given to ten people within our target audience which will contribute massively to our music video. Some can be presented quantitatively as shown by the graphs and others qualitatively which will be explained.
Majority agreed that a music video should be 4mins followed by the 30% that suggested 3mins which makes 3-4mins our targeted time and was they initial time.
The other questions we asked such as "where do you think a romantic music video should be filmed?" which was an open question allowed completely different responses. A lot of people were unsure and replied with 'a nice location with a view' which wasn't specific enough and may be could be explained better in a focus group where one persons idea may influence another and give more ideas. However, we did receive specific locations such as the beach x2, high school and Paris which mostly came from the female surveyors. This will give us the idea to find similar locations that is accessible to us and won't be cost effective due to our budget. We cannot ignore the fact that the sample of relevant answers that we received is too small to come to a conclusion of the best location.
This is the same with the question "What is your favourite music video?" we received a wide range of answers in terms of different genres. This may suggest that romantic music videos or music videos based on relationship may not be of interest to our target audience or the visuals may have to be taken into consideration but that it's still uncertain it's the visuals that appeal to them.
